Patrick J. Gomez, M.D., F.A.C.S.

was born and raised in Alamogordo, New Mexico. He graduated from the University of New Mexico School of Medicine in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1983. He completed his General Surgery Internship and Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Residency at Portsmouth Naval Hospital in Portsmouth, Virginia, in 1990. After completing his graduation in 1990, Dr. Gomez served two years as Assistant Chief of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Camp LeJeune Naval Hospital, North Carolina. During this time, he also served at Naval Fleet Hospital Five in Saudi Arabia during the Middle East Gulf War. Dr. Gomez has practiced general Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery since arriving in El Paso in 1992, with special interests in Nasal and Endoscopic Sinus Surgery, Surgical Treatment of Sleep Disorders (Apnea), Diseases of the Ear, and Head and Neck Cancer Surgery including Thyroid Carcinomas.
