Jorge J. Arango, M.D., F.A.C.S.

was born in Santiago de Cuba and moved at an early age to San Juan, Puerto Rico where he grew up. He graduated from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine in 1985. Dr. Arango completed his Otolaryngology-Head and Neck training at the University District Hospital in San Juan, Puerto Rico, in 1991. He moved to El Paso, Texas, in July of 1991, where he became a Diplomate of the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery in the spring of 1992. Dr. Arango became a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons in the fall of 1994. He enjoys golfing, dancing, and just having a good time with his family and friends. Dr. Arango has been with El Paso Ear, Nose and Throat Associates since his arrival in El Paso, where he further developed the art of Endoscopic Sinus Surgery. He practices general Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, with special interest in Endoscopic Sinus Surgery and Pediatric Airway disorders.
